Burleson Equine Hospital

Burleson Equine Hospital is a full service 24/7 medical and surgical center located just 10 miles south of Fort Worth, Texas. 

We are a 3-doctor referral practice looking to expand to add an additional equine veterinarian and an equine surgeon.  With the increasing need in our area for Regenerative Sports Medicine, Surgery, Advanced Reproduction, General Health and Wellness, Dentistry, and Internal/Emergency Medicine, we want to offer the highest quality of medicine and surgery, with great customer service.  Our clients have been with us for over 30 years, and quality friendly service, team atmosphere, and high ethical standards are a top priority.  We also value family, and support a “work life balance” by offering a unique 4-day work week, on call 1 day/week, and only one weekend a month, all the while being able produce a 6-figure production-based salary. 

Pay is based on Production across the board with specialties paid a higher percentage.  Full benefits paid that include 12 days PTO/4 days sick leave, Memberships/Dues, AVMA/PLIT/GHLIT, 401K, and Continuing Education.

Currently we have a new MinX digital radiograph system, new Sonosite Edge II, new Sonosite M-Turbo, 3M and 12M Olympus Video Endoscopy, Surgical Suite with Shanks table, Surgivet Ventilator and Cardell Monitoring systems, New IDEXX Laboratory equipment, In-House USDA Coggins lab, and 2 New F250 Turbo Diesel Trucks that are fully stocked with large Bowie. We offer IRAP/PRP/IA therapies, Shockwave, RLP, foaling out, embryo transfer, stallion collections, 24/7 emergency services, farm call and in-house appointments.

We cut 20-30 colics/year, with 2-3 soft tissue surgeries/week, along with arthroscopy capabilities, and other orthopedic procedures.  Sports Medicine and Internal medicine is a large part of the practice, therefore advanced knowledge of subject and skill is required.

Requirements: 1-10 years experienced with Internship for associates and board certification for surgeon.
