Veterinary Chiropractic and Rehabilitation Clinic is currently searching for a dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join our team.

VCRC is a busy, free-standing, small and large animal practice located in Houston, Texas. Our goal is to aid in the well-being of our patients using veterinary chiropractic, acupuncture, rehabilitation practices, as well as nutrition counseling and herbal medicine. Very little western medicine. Lots of Veterinary referrals. All the regular medicine and vaccines will get referred back to their DVM.

We attract A+ clients and provide A++ service. Two-thirds of our practice is small animal, and the rest is Equine. One day a week we schedule farms calls for multiple horses. If you are only interested in small animal, we currently have a 1 page wait list of small animals trying to get in. We could use someone immediately.

Certifications in one or more of these modalities are preferred: Chiropractic, Acupuncture, Canine and/or Equine rehabilitation. Full or part-time positions are available.

We offer competitive pay and salary options from part-time to full-time 55K - 125K to start. Practice buy-in and sign on bonus also available.

Currently seeking an associate veterinarian for a mixed practice located in the beautiful Texas hill country Bandera, Texas.  Candidates should have good interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic. Requires DVM and current or eligible licensure in state of Texas. Starting salary is based on experience level.

Hospital is located on 20 acres 1.2 miles south of Bandera on highway 173. The hospital itself has inside stocks, small animal surgery suite, two exam rooms with two additional hydraulic tables in kennel room, grooming suite and in-house laboratory. Outside the hospital we have a covered barn for large animal/equine hospitalization or boarding capacity for 35 and 6 turnout pens adjacent with another set of stocks.

We use power float dental equipment, shockwave therapy, digital radiography, ultrasound, companion therapy laser, Co2 surgical laser, Digitherm thermal imaging and Acupuncture. Full Heska laboratory equipment and Zoetis VetScan Imagyst and Abaxis Vetscan SA and UR urinalysis equipment.

Texas Equine Hospital is seeking a full-time Equine Associate Veterinarian. 

Texas Equine Hospital is located in Central Texas.  Our hospital is a full service primary care and referral/second opinion hospital.  Texas Equine Hospital is an exclusively equine practice focusing on sports medicine and surgery (orthopedic and soft tissue), in addition to being a full service facility treating a wide range of primary care cases. We see around 15,000 horses a year. Our veterinarians  treat a wide array of disciplines including western performance, rodeo, racing, dressage, hunter/jumper, pleasure, polo, endurance and companion horses.

We have 2 boarded surgeons, 2 general practitioner, 4 interns, 20+ technicians, 10 office staff/administrative support staff.  The hospital has a fully equipped surgical suite, three recovery rooms, two imaging rooms, five exam rooms, pharmacy, lab, reception area, two apartments, and a conference/surgery viewing room.  A covered 60 x 120 asphalt area is used for lameness evaluations. Adjacent to the main building is a 12 stall barn with 1 exam room used for dental work plus 30 outdoor covered stalls. There is also a climate controlled barn that has four ICU stalls and two Isolation stalls. A recent addition is a 16 stall barn with a climate controlled exam room.   A separate building houses a climate controlled farrier shop.  We have 2 ambulatory trucks.  Please see our website   www.texasequinehospital.com

Our imaging capabilities include upper respiratory video endoscopy, video gastroscopy, ultrasonography, and digital radiography.  We provide 24-hour care for foals and adult horses in our climate controlled intensive care unit and isolation facility. 

We utilize the lameness locator, power dental equipment, electrochemotherapy, shockwave therapy, regenerative medicine, and chiropractic exams, etc.

Texas Equine Hospital has a strong team effort approach to practice.  We seek a candidate with good interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic.  We all work together to provide the highest quality care to our patients and clients.

This position will be general veterinary care for daily appointments, care for hospitalized patients plus some ambulatory work.  We have an Emergency Clinician who does 60% of the emergency duty.  The remaining emergency caseload is shared on a rotational schedule.   Appointments are scheduled Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.  Emergencies are seen 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Must have a DVM or equivalent degree from an AVMA accredited veterinary school, passed the NAVLE and Texas State boards.  Also need to be eligible for USDA accreditation and to be authorized to work in the USA.  

Starting salary is based upon experience level. A base salary is provided that becomes production based  (21% commission) as the applicant accrues a caseload beyond the base salary.
